Programme Aims
Supporting Neurodivergent Employees: Practical Strategies for Inclusive Workplaces
Creating an inclusive workplace goes beyond understanding neurodiversity. It involves building environments where people feel valued, understood, and empowered to perform at their best.
This interactive workshop provides practical, evidence-informed strategies to help employers, managers, and employees better support neurodivergent colleagues and create more inclusive ways of working. Participants will explore how differences in executive functioning can affect areas such as communication, organisation, time management, planning, focus, and task completion.
Using real workplace scenarios and practical examples, the session focuses on identifying common barriers, reducing misunderstandings, and developing effective communication and support strategies. Participants will leave with tools and techniques they can apply immediately to foster psychological safety, strengthen working relationships, and create a more inclusive and productive workplace for everyone.
